The flagship company of the Atlas Group is Atlas Insurance PCC Limited, operating an extensive branch and intermediary network throughout Malta and Gozo. In 2006 the Group has extended operations into the international arena by providing protected cell facilities to businesses wishing to write insurance within the EU through our Atlas Insurance PCC cell operations.

Group gross insurance premium today stands at just over €78 million worth of local and international business, a substantial increase over the days of the late nineties when 4 family run insurance agencies made the decision to merge to form Atlas Insurance Agency!

Our people

The group employs just over 250 people, numbering among them a substantial number of fellows and associates of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London. Many of the staff who operate Atlas’ commercial insurance are business graduates, with an increasing number choosing to qualify both in business and insurance. Risk management, health and safety, loss adjustment, human resources, IT and various other financial qualifications are also increasingly popular specialisations within the group. Atlas’ professional staff also provide back office services such as finance, compliance, information systems, human resources and marketing to the Group, including Atlas Insurance’s protected cell clients.
